What is Bowenwork?

Bowenwork is a very effective bodywork therapy, where very gentle moves are performed over muscles and soft tissue, stimulating the nervous system to reset and heal.

Frequent pauses between moves allow the body to process the messages and commence healing.

By combining moves, the practitioner can either benefit the body as a whole, or target a specific problem.  Bowenwork affects all systems within the body and initiates change at a cellular level.

Bowenwork is appropriate for newborns to the elderly.  results can be remarkable, even from the first session.

Where did Bowenwork come from?

Divinely inspired, the late Mr. Tom Bowen helped over 13,000 people a year in a small clinic in Geelong, Australia.  The Bowen Academy of Australia (BTAA) was established in 1987 to teach his technique.

Bowenwork is now recognized and practiced in over 30 countries by medical doctors, nurses, chiropractors, naturopaths, veterinarians, physical therapist, massage practitioners, and more.  It is being utilized in hospitals, clinics, sports teams, and by family members wanting to help their loved ones.
